About Sarah
I remember as a kid watching a team of glass-blowers in Medicine Hat, Alberta. It was fascinating, and sparked a love of glass art. As I grew up, I can remember admiring stained glass, but thinking I could never do it. (I also feared working with a blow torch.) Then, when I was about 35 years old, I decided that if other people could do it, I could too. I took a beginner's stained glass stepping stone class at the local college, and then eventually a stained glass copper foil class. (I was very disappointed, after working up the courage to explore the medium of glass, that there was no blow torch involved.) When I discovered fusing, I found my passion.
